NFL might vote to rein in TD celebrations

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2387077

This is nuts. I personally think so at least. They should be able to celebrate, they need to have fun.

this is dumb

so long as the guy celebrating isn't taking a shot at the other team, there's nothing wrong with a wacky celebration

Chad Johnson is the man

Whoa. I think this is only meant to deter things that people like TO or Randy Moss do, though. Or those dances done to taunt opponents. Honestly, if you score, you should be allowed to do SOMETHING, so long as it's not flamboyant. -CSM

Im glad this happened, that kind of showboating drives more people away than it brings to the sport.

Yes, but Don't you think that they should have some fun. And some people just wait for Chad Johnson to do something crazy.

I know this is more just about TD celebrations but defensive players do it 2, whenever they get a sack or good tackle. Its not that they don't have fun while playing the game, they just get excited and want to do something. It gets the fans cheering and when the fans are backing the team, the team gets a lot of modivation. (Sorry I am not a good Speller)

Well maybe that was a little over the top but they should be able to do something. (But it was really funny.)

yea, but then again it could get the other team flustered and not focused on the game

After scoring a touchdown, usually you get a short break while your defense plays, and there's probably about ten minutes of commercials that can be used for settling yourselfs down, heh. -CSM

Why do you want your players to settle down. I would want my players to be pumped and ready to play.
