I know the Americans won't care (some of you probably don't even know what snooker is), but there are quite a few members from the UK who may care about the Snooker World Championship, which will be held for the next two weeks. In the past few years I've become quite a big fan of the sport and I especially like the BBC covered events (I have to resort to Eurosport with Dutch commentary for any tournament outside of England). I've watched only a couple of frames of yesterday's matches as I had to work during the day, and had a party last night. Defending champion Shaun Murphy got through quite easily, although the scoreline did not reflect that Wattana was playing pretty well. I'm going to watch as much of it as possible, and I even took the 1st of May off to watch the final. Last edited by Koga; 04-16-2006 at 05:51 AM. |

| The Last Timelord. | I watch it as and when I can. Although I'd rather play it than watch it. Not that I'm very good at it. |

I do like playing pool, which I'm quite good at. Who's your favourite player? Mine's Ronnie O'Sullivan. Despite all his antics when he's not playing, he's a joy to watch when he's in form. |

I don't like players who take their time for each shot. I like it when it all seems to go natural. |
