The BCS officially said Illinois is better than Georgia. I'd like to see them shut down Moreno. They're a three loss team, and one of those losses is to my other favorite CFB team. -CSM |

Rumor is Tressel voted Hawaii number one in his ballot. So. freekin. awesome. Troy didn't get into a bowl game. 8-4 Troy, who's losses came against @ Florida, Georgia and Arkansas (and put up at least 25 on all of them) and FAU in the last game of the season for the Sun Belt Championship. There's a lot of injustices this year, but this is one of the bigger ones, Troy is one of the top 3 or 4 mid major teams this year and better than half of the teams going bowling this year- including SEVEN 6-6 TEAMS, INCLUDING A MATCHUP BETWEEN TWO 6-6 TEAMS. This is why mid majors can't schedule brutal schedules Last edited by ShyGuy727; 12-02-2007 at 09:58 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Granted, we've heard things like this in the past, and nothing. <3 Four team playoff, perfect size. But I'd still bet my house on it that we won't see a playoff in my lifetime. |

You want to see if Illinois can hang with the greatest team in the history of life. You know you do. And as you know, the traditionalist in me thinks the Rose should be Big Ten/Pac-10 whenever possible. |

Too many teams are becoming competitive. You have to try and get the best matchup possible. No more living in the past. It's time to live in what's happening right now. This holds especially true for Notre Dame fans (and Michigan fans, too, sadly, but in case you've forgotten Michigan fans are their own biggest critics) -CSM |

In today's society, getting the best possible matchup by picking teams that match well is more important than preserving antiquated traditions. As much fun as traditions are, some are hindering. Maybe next year, when I'm gonna pick the Illini to win the Big Ten, it'll be a good matchup. -CSM |
