They showed last year that their lineup is old and brittle and breaks down over the course of a season. If not the Pedro injuries, the injuries to like 8 starters over Spring Training should have been a concern. You should be more concerned about your outfield's health and Delgado. And if Reyes will pull another chokejob in the playoff stretch in September. That being said: throwing your season away one series into it in April is freaking retarded. The Mets were a chokejob away from running away with the division last year minus Pedro. |
