NBA playoffs

The NBA playoffs start tomorrow. Who ya got?

Personally I'm hoping New Orleans wins. Part of it is the Chris Paul fan in me, another part is they're not a team that normally does this well, another part is I don't want to see another Boston/LA/Insert-Texas-based-team-here NBA title, another part of it is I was gonna root for Denver before Melo got DUI'd. -CSM

I HOPE Atlanta can down those stinky Celtics. But that's not very likely to happen. -CSM

Depends who they draw in the rounds. Dallas is winnable (I'm saying in 6). I think they could take LA. Phoenix and Denver are wins. SA, Houston, and Jazz are losses. The Jazz would probably sweep them.

As long as the Lakers, Pistons, or Spurs dont win, I don't care. I'd like to see the Celtics or Hornets take it though.

Spurs in 2OT. Let's hope this isn't the start of something old fashioned.

Wake Forest grads shined today. -CSM

Sixers won.

In other news, many heart attacks were reported in the greater Philadelphia area.

No they won't, because they can't play defense when it counts, and the Spurs can.

Depends. They lost a winnable game on the road and there's no guarantee that they'll get the chance to take another one in SA. If they lose 4-3 on Home/Road splits, this game will be the one pointed at.

Shaq having as many fouls as rebounds isn't what you want to see either.

The fact that they were 3-1 against the Spurs in the regular season says that when they have to, they can work it out. I'm not going to lose faith yet.

That game was won in 2 overtimes. That alone says the series is far from over. -CSM

Arguably the game shouldn't have gone to either if they were getting the job done. They had a chance to win on the Road and bungled it.

Suns look done.

Pistons look like they don't care.

Utah/Houston could be the retarded series where nobody wins at home.

Lakers/Nuggets haven't started until the Lakers win in an arena where they don't get bull**** calls.

Anyone that wrote off the Wizards is a retard. That series is going at least six, more than likely seven.

Hornets will win against the Mavs, tomorrow determines if its in 5 or not.

Why is there more discussions about niche sports like lacrosse and spectacles like horse racing than the NBA playoffs?

Celtics aren't making the finals. They'll win in 7 against the Cavs, but lose to the Pistons. Detroit can win one in the Garden, but Boston won't be able to win one in Detroit.

Jazz may clip LAL if they force 7. I think the godawful calls from the last game will put a hold on homer calls.

Hornets should win the series against the Spurs. Hopefully they win in 6, but I don't see them losing at home in 7.

Dantoni to the Knicks makes as much sense as NASCRAP on road courses. Total wreck waiting to happen.

Kobe isn't the MVP because MVPs don't demand to be traded and throw their team under the bus for the prior offseason and the first half of the year.

Because outside of football season (and even then) this forum is pretty much dead. The amount of sportsviewers on VGF is very slim.
