NFL Owners opt out the CBA

This can and may not be a big deal at the same time.

NFL owners opt out of labor agreement

If the owners have an offer in place then it should be solved soon, if not, we could be looking at a capless season in 2010 and a possible labor shortage in 2011.

In other news, Arthur Blank is continuously finding ways to piss me off.

I understand their premise behind it and the Matt Ryan deal is a prime example.

35 million guaranteed to unproven players while QBs like Brady, Garrard and Eli aren't even making half is ridiculous really.

The owners also DID get screwed in the last agreement, so I see where their coming from (as stated), as things are REALLY going to get interesting come 2010 when there's no salary cap.

Anyone else banking that owners like Jerry Jones and Arthur Blank will be spending out the ass while small market teams like Buffalo and Jacksonville could be potentially screwed for a year?
