Croatia upset Germany, and Italy took a bad loss to Holland, and Romania took France to a tie.

Lasts long? Matches are much shorter than baseball and American football games.

Premier League is in a class of its own- downright foolish to mention it in the same breath as the MLS.

Yeah, well the Primier League is overplayed. There are lots of other great leagues around the world.

I've been paying attention to it this year, a few teams looking good to go all the way this time around.

The Italian League is quite boring in my opinion as a lot of Italian football is about defence, so you don't get many high scoring games (Teams score 1 goal then defend for the rest of the match). The Premier League is a lot more exciting and has some of the best teams in the world (Two teams from the Premiership in the Champion's League final this season) and some very good games.

My entire experience with Italia is summed up above. With more flopping and theatrics than the French. They make it look like Henry doesn't dive in the box every other possession.

I like Holland. I know that's easy to say after they've easily won 2 games but I like them as a team, some very recognisable names in there and Van Basten is a smart coach and a very good leader, they're a very likable squad.
