How will each division and team fare? Let's look at it: NFC East: 1. Dallas 2. NY Giants 3. Philly 4. Washington Dallas grabs the NFC East lead from the G-Men by a game(You dont know how much it pains me to say that.) Key offseason moves for the Boys, and a few bad losses for the G-Men put the Cowboys over the edge..but dont count out the Giants. An improved Philly gets to about a .500 record, and the deadskins in last once again. NFC North: 1. Minnesota 2. Green Bay 3. Chicago 4. Detroit Minnesota is one of the most dangerous rushing teams, and their defensive line is great. Still have QB issues though. Favreless Packers do well with Rodgers, but miss the playoffs. Chicago still has QB issues, and Detroit didn't do much in the offseason to get any better. NFC South: 1. New Orleans 2. Tampa Bay 3. Carolina 4. Atlanta The Saints made a couple good offseason additions, including TE Jeremy Shockey. The Saints are going to use him the right way, and it's going to be like Brees to Gates all over again. Tampa Bay may take the division crown if they get Brett Favre, but without him, they're just an overrated team who got lucky by getting into the playoffs last year with a weak division. Carolina looks about the same as last year, and Atlanta is still in their soap Opera phase with Mike Vick leaving and having Joey Harrington at the QB position. NFC West: 1. Seattle 2. St. Louis 3. San Francisco 4. Arizona Seattle continues to rule the weak NFC West. I feel like the Rams got a little bit of a raw deal last year because they got injured early. Bulger, Holt, and Jackson all went down early, and I feel they will improve this year. Alex Smith is still having his problems in San Fran despite a good running game, and Leinart is still just mediocre in Arizona until he can prove me otherwise. AFC East: 1. New England 2. NY Jets 3. Buffalo 4. Miami New England is still going to lead this division for quite some time, but the Jets got better in the offseason. They may be able to make a run. Buffalo was getting better every year, but I feel the Jets will top them. If possible, the Dolphins got worse this offseason by getting rid of their MVP. AFC North: 1. Cleveland 2. Pittsburgh 3. Cincinnati 4. Baltimore This is a good division. I'm gonna put my faith in the Brownies though, they made some good offseason moves, and their D is getting better. Pittsburgh is still good with a good defense and secondary and a good QB and running game. Cincy is alright, I predict Johnson will be gone by the end of the year though, and Baltimore struggles with no good QB. AFC South: 1. Indianapolis 2. Jacksonville 3. Tennessee 4. Houston I thought about putting Jacksonville in front of Indianapolis, but I try it every year and it never works. Indy's too hard to bet against with a great D and a great Offense as well. Jacksonville can still give them a run for their money though with Mo Jones Drew and Taylor, and Garrard one of the best QB's this past season. Tennessee stays mediocre, and Houston, although improving, can't get out of the basement. AFC West: 1. San Diego 2. Denver 3. Oakland 4. Kansas City I'm still unsure about this division, mostly because it's so bad. San Diego is still the king, but Denver is improving with Cutler getting better. Oakland is still a work in progress, and um...who is the QB for KC? Playoff Predictions: NFC: 1. Dallas 2. Seattle 3. Minnesota 4. New Orleans 5. NY Giants 6. Tampa Bay Bucs Minnesota over Tampa, NY Giants over New Orleans. Dallas over the Giants, Seattle over Minnesota. Seattle vs Dallas NFC Championship game, Seattle advances to Super Bowl. AFC: 1. New England 2. Indianapolis 3. Cleveland 4. San Diego 5. Jacksonville 6. Pittsburgh Cleveland over Pittsburgh, Jacksonville over San Diego, New England over Pittsburgh, Jacksonville over Indianapolis, New England vs Jacksonville game: Jacksonville advances Jacksonville vs Seattle Superbowl Jacksonville wins.
