I still think that Favre's move to the Jets is waaaaaaaaay too over-rated. He's 39, has to learn a new system, and is playing on a team that was 4-12. I'm not one for thinking that one player changes a team from a bottom feeder to a Superbowl wannabe, no matter who that player is. |

Or how about Mark Brunell instead of Drew Brees in New Orleans? What if Dallas lost Tony Romo? If they don't have a competent enough to give them the ball, then defenses can just tee off on the running game because they know they can't be beaten by the quarterback. A 17-10 win over the Chiefs does not say to me that Cassel is going to be able to be able to win the division for them. I guess we'll just have to see where they stand next week against the Jets. If they lose, I say they finish third. |

Quinn Gray showed he was competent enough to lead the Jags to a 3-1 record under his command last season....that's with no receiving threats whatsoever. New Orleans would be screwed At least Cassel has some pretty good WRs in Randy Moss and Wes Welker to help him along. They'll probably finish second due to some young mistakes by Cassel, but I won't say they won't be competitive. Buffalo looked absolutely ridiculous yesterday, special teams was awesome, defense was great, Trent Edwards looked like he won't be a flop. If this team continue to execute like that, they'll find their way to the playoffs or even the AFC Championship. |
