Packers-Vikings 4. Patriots-Jets 3. Steelers-Browns 2. Cowboys-Eagles 1. Patriots-Colts A lot of historical rivals (Bears-Packers, Jets-Dolphins, and Cowboys-Redskins, for example) were left out, and understandably, because frankly they don't mean that much anymore. These five rivalries mean a lot in today's game. -CSM |

I'm not shocked it didn't make the list (cause it's not top 5 even IMO), but The I-85 Rivalry; i.e.: Atlanta/Carolina is a pretty heated (yet one-sided) rivalry. |

Just because neither team has been winning, it doesn't mean we don't tear the **** out of each other. I mean hell, NO/TB is not a rivalry, NO/CAR could be one, seeing as the Saints kept upsetting Carolina whenever the roles were reversed. |

NO/ATL Everything else. We had good rivalries going with the Niners and Rams, but they realigned. There's sort of one with Carolina because Steve Smith torches us and Delhomme was a backup here, but that's more of a "WTF is wrong with our front office" thing. There's sort of one building with Chicago that's been off and on, but I don't even remember the last time the Bears came here. | |

The past several seasons have been huge opportunities for either team to be a stain on the other's otherwise decent season. This season is going to be especially exciting with two new starting quarterbacks; it's going to be very interesting and potentially tragic to see how Rodgers holds up against a revitalized Chicago defense, and likewise for Orton vs. Green Bay's. I would definitely rank Bears/Packers higher than Vikings/Packers. |
