Can you have a negative QB rating?

Cause if so, Tyler Thigpen is on the right track.

Also, Frerrotte is struggling, how much do you want to bet that they'll actually blame it on the receivers in Minnesota and not Frerrotte?

Cause everything else was Jackson's fault.

I've noticed Jason Peters has already given up two sacks today, one leading to another fumble. That's three sacks and two fumbles on him already this year. And he went to the Pro Bowl?

I can't see it, but that game looks like a slopfest.

QBs collectively: 13/29, 117 yards, 2 turnovers

Yeah, and other than that last drive before the 1st half was over, that was about his only highlight.

I hope he has some success in the future.

Throw in Derek Anderson and Brodie Croyle and you have a deal.

Jimmy "Emu" Clausen had the worst QB rating I've ever witnessed last year. -CSM

VY is the absolute worst. Everyone else at least wants to play and be on the field. At this point, Mike Vick in Fed-Pen is better than VY because Mike Vick wants out and back on the field.

I wouldn't lump Anderson in the bottom after last year, even with the struggles. Maybe they're struggling because their 30th in the league in rushing. He's made bad plays, sure, but it isn't all on him. The other parts of the Browns aren't pulling their weight. If they actually get a rushing attack, it'll open up the passing lanes. Plus Stallworth being out doesn't help.

Chief Starter of the Day doesn't count. QB by committee is just destined to fail and it isn't really fair to crank someone when they aren't taking the majority of the snaps AND they're in an offense that Herm Edwards has destroyed to the point where the only thing they're geared up to do is run 45+ times a game (and they can't do that well either).

T-Jax's main problem is that he's not suited for how Minnesota built their team. They need an efficient game-manager that's already developed and won't make mistakes ala Jeff Garcia. He's not working in Minnesota for the same reason Chad Pennington wouldn't work in, say, Oakland (because 10 year olds can get more air under their balls than Pennington). As a result, T-Jax is in the toilet in terms of QB effectiveness and overall ranking.

God is it possible to get through one topic where you don't interject some retarded UM meme? Pro football has a different QB rating formula than college. No place in this conversation. Get it out. MUTE.

Croyle started a few games last year in which he stunk it up, I mean, I understand that he was learning and what not and that he was a rookie (or year two, something like that) but he showed no progress week to week.

Which goes along with what I said about Minnesota nearly screwing themselves. They've got a team built to win that solely needs a game manager, Tarvaris was a project QB that was going to need time to even look good. The guy has come a long way from being at ASU where he essentially had to coach himself (seeing as at the time ASU didn't have a QBs coach). Minnesota with Jeff Garcia or even a guy like Josh McCown could go far, I just don't trust Frerrote, because while he and Garcia have been journeymen, Garcia has actually been successful in his stints (excluding Cleveland). Frerrote has had a couple of decent games and faded out of each location, ala Damon Huard.
