Anyone else is expendable, and much of it depends on if they clear out the coaching staff. I'm not sure Singletary will take over fulltime, and I don't know if Martz will stay there in a coordinator role if they won't use "his players." He's making a case that they should stick with him (then again, O'Sullivan had a few good games too). I'm expecting Alex Smith to get cut in the offseason. |

Difference between JTO and Hill is turnover, JTO was just bad at taking care of the ball, Hill does not make the same mistakes. Guy has heart (see the 13 yard run on 3rd down @ Arizona last week) and this offense is responding to him, we'll see if the staff agrees. | |

JTO was/is a career backup and shouldn't have played IMO. He knew Martz's system, and Martz made him look good for a few games. I'm not sold on Hill being the longterm solution, but I'm also not sold on Alex Smith being a bust considering he's been in one of the worst QB situations in the league. | |
