I think Stafford will be around by the time the Jets come up though. I don't know if he's projected to be a first rounder, but if he is.... Other QBs I want: Darryl Clark, Mark Sanchez QBs I don't want: Chase Daniel -CSM |

If White or Tebow were in a system more like, say, Georgia's or USC's, I'd feel more comfortable. Anything "spread" isn't suitable for the NFL. You need to be able to take snaps under center. -CSM |

He doesn't have the efficiency or consistency in the passing department to be an NFL QB. If the Lions are smart, they'll stick with the QB crop they have and build an offensive line and a DEFENSE. QB is their last problem, as Kitna is certainly capable of getting the job done, and Culpepper is a reliable backup. Don't waste money on a QB, rebuild the rest of the core first. |

Florida's spread involves spreading out the defense to open up a running lane and involves QB draws extensively. I have yet to see a single system in the NFL that involves QB draws. -CSM |

QB draws in the NFL: Some variations of the west coast (Steve Young, John Elway, Mike Vick, McNabb, Plummer, Vince Young, McNair) and most variations of the run-and-shoot. He'd probably work in anything close to a pro spread or even a west coast variant due to the boot threat. Don't buy into Keiper's hitjob on Tebow. Last edited by Lurch1982; 01-18-2009 at 11:58 PM.
