This isn't blind CSM bashing, I harass, for example, LSU people bragging when they blow out Tulane (OMG RIVALRY), or *NFC North fan/Thanksgiving day winner* for bragging about blowing out the Lions. |

Syracuse's "rivalries" with Colgate and Cornell are more like LSU-Tulane (although Cornell in lacrosse is actually important, but there are other traditional games SU plays during the lax season that are so lobsided they're more like the LSU-Tulane rivalry, such as Albany, Binghamton, and Hobart, and I've been clamoring for all these games' removals). SU-Georgetown is the premier basketball rivalry of the Big East, and Georgetown is usually good (remember the past two years? They were 2-seeds those years). Just because one school in a rivalry is having a down year doesn't make the rivalry less intense. It's like, say, Michigan-Ohio State this past fall. You can't deny the intensity of that rivalry year in and year out, no matter how much of a down year one of the schools has. Brandon: Ask any Syracuse fan what school they hate the most, and they'll say Georgetown. -CSM |

I'd also be terrified that Syracuse almost **** themselves at home to Georgetown. | |

Of course the winner is going to go ape**** crazy no matter what the situation. Same with Michigan-Ohio State (notice how many signs at OSU's NC games taunted Michigan?), USC-UCLA, Texas-OU, what have you. -CSM |

I wasn't replying at all to the argument you guys were having..I was more or less just commenting that I like Uconn and they're doing well. I know Syracuse and Georgetown are rivals.... |
