Bills sign Owens to one-year, $6.5 million deal

Oh no. Aww God. Aaahh...

I really don't know if I agree with this move. I really didn't expect this at all. I don't know what to say.

Yeah really. Top 5 WR, best of his generation, etc. Real bad signing. I mean, for Buffalo anyway. This goes contrary to their recent dedication to losing.

^I'd put money on that, except for the fact that it's only a one-year deal. If T.O. plays nice for a year and gets some more attention next off-season, I can't picture him coming back to Buffalo.

He won't get that much attention, because people know he's at his end. Buffalo will end up resigning him, because they'll get close to the playoffs and convince him that they just need to gather a few pieces, only to have another late-season flop. He goes off, blames Trent Edwards, either for having too many concussions or not being good enough and eventually moves onto Team 5 (Final) from there.

I was thinking that, he's going to cash in and then dip, that may be the year he ends up in Oakland.

Either way, TO is a grown man, he's not going to change anything, and people should stop speculating how "teams want to change him." If I'm Trent Edwards, I assert that I am the man in charge, TO will either deal, or make a fuss. Trent will just have to deal with it and not let it bother him.

Everybody knows T.O. is on his best behavior during year 1, but by year 2, the crap starts again. His nice act will be especially apparent with the Bills because he's only signed to a one-year contract right now.

So no, he's not a locker room cancer quite yet.
