Thoughts

Cornell will go to the Sweet 16 at least.

Don't be surprised if St. Mary's makes it to Indy.

Georgetown chokes =

I'm a little nervous about Syracuse but I still think they have a decent shot.

Dook will choke in the Sweet 16.

A Memphis-free NCAAs is refreshing. -CSM

I got so ****ing annoyed with filling out brackets in 2 failed groups (meaning there was a problem e-mailing people), on the 3rd one I just picked no upsets at all, and picked Kansas (deceased) as the National Champion.

What a crazy tournament. I'm hoping for Baylor and Texas A&M to make it to play each other in Houston for a spot at the Final Four. That would be huge.

It's funny, I looked at the women's bracket, and there hasn't been a single upset yet. Not even a 9 over an 8.

Watching this year's tournament pisses me off so much because UAB should be in it. I know we played like crap at the end of the season, but we're a lot better than most of the team's in. I think we would've had a legit shot. But it was interesting to see Northern Iowa knock out Kansas.

^Actually, I looked at the numbers and UAB had a higher RPI and SOS than UNLV. -CSM

Should've been in, but we sputtered out and lost to Memphis at home, blew a lead at UTEP and then lost to USM in the CUSA tourney

lawls no

UNLV vs Top 50- 5-5
UAB vs Top 50- 1-4

This tournament kicks ass- I honestly think Ohio State can beat anyone left in the field and has a great shot at a run now that the Midwest has been ravaged.

If this truly is the last year of 65, it's going out with a bang. Hoping for some mid-majors in the final four.

They want to expand this to 96 teams, essentially making the second greatest sporting event in the world completely worthless. I'd like a 68 team expansion but no more.

Ohio State is very, very dangerous. I thought at the beginning of the tournament they're the only team that I think would beat Syracuse more than half the time. William Beauford (sp?) is very good and often overlooked for being in Evan Turner's shadow. -CSM

When you think about it:
16/30 teams - NBA (53%)
12/32 teams - NFL (38%)
16/30 teams - NHL (53%)
8/30 teams - MLB (27%)

96/347 schools - NCAA Basketball (28%)

There's one game before the meat of the tournament to determine the last team of the 64 you're probably thinking of.

Well, that was pathetic; I don't think I've ever seen the Cuse play this bad. -CSM

^Make that two now. (Frankly I don't want either of those teams to win it all). -CSM
