I've never seen something so egotistical...

Report: LeBron to make decision on national television Thursday - NBA - CBSSports.com Basketball

This is ridiculous.

I think I read that the proceeds are going to a good cause or something.

Quote:
Citing anonymous "independent sources," Broussard reported James' group requested they be allowed to sell sponsorship for the special with proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

It's just the idea that befuddles me though. It's not necessary to have some big news conference over where he decides to sign. It's cool that the proceeds are going to charity, but c'mon...

Watch him declare his signing with the Bulls on the front steps of Madison Square Garden.....because players love to go to NY to disappoint us. At least we have Amare now. -CSM

You mean the PF/C that is a creation of Steve Nash and has some of the worst footwork and fundamentals in the league?

Awesome sign for continuing mediocrity. If he puts up anything close to the numbers he had in Phoenix, I'll be shocked. If he actually stays healthy, my mind will be blown. I mean ffs the guy has already been cut open on both knees and had a micro-fracture surgery.

Knicks could get Lebron, Amare, and other guy and they'd still be a first/second round out because the rest of the team is an abortion of basketball talent.

I'd like to think that the television program will be a half hour of Lebron, sitting on his couch biting his fingernails, until suddenly, his face brightens up and he says, "I've got it!"

But then doesn't tell what his decision is to the camera.
