They seem to, but they do not and probably will not have a supporting cast.

Those draft picks the Rockets got from the Knicks are looking very nice right now.

1. Good. He needs to be brought down off his ego-inflated "throne".

2. GET THE **** OVER IT. LET HIM DO WHAT HE ****ING WANTS!

Only one of them can have the ball at any given time. They're not going to continue to average 27 25 and 20. They also aren't deep enough to really be a threat IMO. Lakers, Bulls, Celtics, Pistons, Rockets, Spurs were all deep when they went on runs with good players.

They're also not really going to have a supporting cast worth a damn. Heat were shallow as is. Sure they'll get some aging mercs with exemptions, but even then. One mid-level, one or two bi-annual, Bird veteran exemptions and nonBird exemptions and some minimum exemptions. So they could fill out the roster with a bunch of old, aging "trying to get the ring" guys, but that's not really going to be effective in one of the deepest divisions in the league.

Even if they do load up on exempted contracts, they're going to be in Luxury Tax hell. Yeah they won't have a problem filling the arena, but no owner is going to want to pay 1:1 for every dollar over the tax threshold.

The thing is none of them can max out in Miami even though Miami pretty much emptied out their entire team. Somehow I think Dwayne Wade and LeBron with no Chris Bosh would perform better than the two of them with Chris Bosh. -CSM

I'm on the other side of that one. Wade/Bosh works better than all three. Frees up enough space to make a run at good role players and pieces, and won't give you a massive performance drop out of one of the players. James and Wade basically play the same position and style, whereas Bosh at least provides a post presence they haven't had.

As it stands if one guy gets injured, the Heat get really bad really quickly. Odds of that are pretty likely considering Wade's age and prior injury history.
