At some point you might as well throw flags on players, he started off as a great commish, then sometime after 2008 he decided to change the league instead of moderating it. |

But all the other ones? Seriously? You're supposed to hit a QB while he's throwing. That's how you get turnovers. You're supposed to hit a receiver while he's trying to make a catch. That's how you cause incompletions. And a QB after a change of possession? If he doesn't want to get hurt, run off the field, otherwise he's a defender same as anyone else and shouldn't be babied. Especially if he's trying to make a tackle. Might as well give all QBs and Wide Receivers red jerseys and bring on the college rules for downing a player if it's going to get this ridiculous. I mean, Zdeno Chara can get away with practically trying to kill a guy in hockey and not even get a fine, yet you can barely breath on people in football anymore without getting docked a game check or two plus 15 yards. And I hope no one misunderstands what I'm trying to say here. I'm in no way advocating what Chara did, in fact I've always disliked him, thought he was a dirty player and most definitely think he should have been suspended for that. I'm simply saying that the NFL is getting waaaaaaay too uptight about how you hit people. Last edited by Auron; 03-17-2011 at 06:41 PM. | ||
