NFL Pick'em

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing it this year. I'll be sure to run it and keep it updated to the best of my ability (which should be every week), so yeah, if you're interested, post and stuff and I'll post the schedule in the next couple of days.

I'd be interested in trying this for a bit. My interest in it might go down during the year depending on how bad my team sucks though.

I'd give it a go, if I remember it.

So, I was gonna do this Wednesday and it slipped my mind. I'll give everyone that participates this week one win for the GB-NO game. Anyway, here we go

Schedule:
1:00 Games
Pittsburgh vs. Baltimore
Detroit vs. Tampa Bay
Philadelphia vs. St. Louis
Buffalo vs. Kansas City
Tennessee vs. Jacksonville
Indianapolis vs. Houston
Cincinnati vs. Cleveland
Atlanta vs. Chicago

4:15 games
NY Giants vs. Washington
Seattle vs. San Francisco
Minnesota vs. San Diego
Carolina vs. Arizona

SNF
Dallas vs. NY Jets

MNF
New England vs. Miami
Oakland vs. Denver

Pittsburgh - I just think they're the better team. Lee Evans won't make an impact just yet.
Detroit - This is going to be a good game between two young teams. This is definitely a homer pick.
Philadelphia - 'The Dream Team' gets started on the right foot.
Kansas City - sry auron
Tennessee - I still don't get why Jacksonville cut Garrard. McCown sucks and I don't think Gabbert is ready.
Houston - No Peyton, no win.
Cleveland - Cincinnati is in for a long year.
Atlanta - Chicago is a team that's going to decline hard this year. I still don't understand how they won the division.
NY Giants - When your QB battle is Beck vs. Grossman, you know you suck.
Seattle - NFC Worst, amirite?
San Diego - not a good start for McNabb
Arizona - This one could go either way. The Panthers aren't as bad as their record indicated. But Kolb adds something that Arizona didn't have last year. A decent QB.
NY Jets - I hate the Jets, but I think their defense is good enough to get them a win here. I still think their offense is really suspect though. (I'm looking at you Mark Sanchez.)
New England - Not much to say here.
Denver - Welcome to the John Fox era.

So far so good.

And the Bills crushed the Chiefs. Good for them.

And the Ravens crushed the Steelers. Woot!

Probably the best Bills game I've watched in years.

Week 1 Results:

Auron: 11-5 (.688)
CSM: 10-6 (.625)
March: 8-8 (.500)
M_K: 7-9 (.438)
Maximum Spider: 6-10 (.375)

Does anyone remember what Andre did if you didn't turn in picks or if someone started late? I have an idea of what I would do, but yeah, I dunno...

Anyway, games this week.

1:00 Games

Seattle-Pittsburgh
Oakland-Buffalo
Arizona-Washington
Tampa Bay-Minnesota
Jacksonville-NY Jets
Chicago-New Orleans
Green Bay-Carolina
Baltimore-Tennessee
Kansas City-Detroit
Cleveland-Indianapolis

4:05-15 Games
Dallas-San Francisco
Cincinnati-Denver
San Diego-New England
Houston-Miami

Sunday Night Football
Philadelphia-Atlanta

Monday Night Football
St. Louis-NY Giants

My picks:
Pittsburgh - They're going to come into this game mad. That won't be good for the Seahawks.
Buffalo - Welp.
Arizona - This one was tough to call, but I think Kolb gets the job done.
Minnesota - I think Minnesota is better then they're given credit for.
NY Jets - No way Luke McCown can lead Jacksonville to victory.
New Orleans - This is going to be a shootout.
Green Bay - Cam Newton can't do it twice.
Baltimore - They looked really good against Pittsburgh. Now they get Tennessee? Pfft.
Detroit - I think Kansas City could come in here mad after getting whooped by the Bills, but I'll stick with my homer pick.
Cleveland - No Manning, no wins.
Dallas - What's this about Romo being the NFL's version of LeBron? LeBron is in his own class of failure and arrogance.
Denver - Yeah, no idea how Cincy won last week, but whatever.
New England - what's the over/under on Brady throwing more than 300 yards?
Houston - They destroyed Indy, this won't be as close though.
Philadelphia - Vick wins in his return to Atlanta.
NY Giants - St. Louis got hammered with injuries in week one. That's going to make for a rough game.
