CP3 to Lakers, Pau to Rockets, Lamar Odom to Hornets

Changes the basketball landscape quite a bit, huh? -CSM

I like the trade, as a Rockets fan. I'm interested to see if we look to land Nene to pair with Pau.

Maybe this deal doesn't go down after all?

Apparently a bunch of owners got mad and had the trade vetoed, as the Hornets are owned by the league and can be denied the ability to add salary.

I'm glad that this got vetoed. I don't want to watch a Heat-Lakers Finals for the next five years.

CP3 is fuming and exploring legal options, according to Chris Broussard.

I was gonna post a link saying the deal's off, but I'm really thrilled that it is. For once, ESPN loses! -CSM

I've actually never had less regard for the NBA than after this move. It screws Chris Paul and the Hornets most of all, but everyone was getting what they needed in this deal.

I guess it's just selfish of me for not wanting this to happen. I just hate all these super-trios that are trying to form and take over the NBA.

^They're not exactly anything new. In the '90s we had the Rockets with Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler, and Charles Barkley, but Houston only won titles before the latter two came over. -CSM
