My first comic: Starring Luigi, Goomba and Zoldor the Shy Guy

Edit: Mature language ahead! If you don't care about the occasional drop of the Fbomb then read on, but if you have meek lil' virgin ears proceed with caution.
Also, I'm not sure how to censor the lang. w/out editing the actual images...

Aight! It's time to show you guys my spiffy comic that I've been working on for the last couple of days or so. Go free time.

I decided that I liked the idea of taking screenshots (though in my later comics I begin to incorportate actual sprites a little more--more to be posted later on that topic) from Nintendo games to make a more "kinda 3d type comic thingy" It's my first one. Ever.

The storyline is from my RP group (tabletop two nights a week)- from a game we played from Sept of last year until just recently.

Splash page = page 0 and not part of the comic.

I couldn't get photobucket to put the images in order- hopefully I can figure that out later.

Ok, enough stalling. Here it is. Tell me whatcha think

Yup. I also have some origional sprites that I work with, or manipulate pre-existing ones as well as the screenshots, they appear in the story later though. The program I use is called the GIMP -- very similar to Photoshop.

Im getting GIMP soon so I might try somefin like this. Not right now though. Anyway continue but your going to have to censor the F and S words because the mods/admins will get mad.

From now on just put a * instead of a U in the F word or put a * instead of I in the S word.

Looks cool. I'll try to read it soon, but right now I have to go.

Also, I'd suggest Smack Jeeves Webcomic Hosting.

Or try Tinypic. Tinypic NEVER shrinks the images but Photobucket will if its to big of an image.

Feh, it's kind of amateurish. Then again, there's not much else you can do with MS Paint, is there?

My question is- How is this based on D&D? It's actually a two part question.

1) It was a baseball campaign?
2) Classes? Was Mario a Fighter, and Magikoopa a wizard? Koopa a race?

I havn't seen any 3d style sprite comics before, and I can not really say I wish to any more. It most be nearly impossible to match up shaded without photoshop.

I couldn't really understand what the heck was going on. The panels are all smushed together and the word bubbles were kinda low quality.

Storyline starts with a baseball game, but goes a completely dif direction.

Was based on a RP game with a system called BESM (Big Eyes Small Mouth- universal all purpose anime style RP.)- Not D&D.
Classes in this system are pretty much whatever you want it to be.

*Shrug* It was my first attempt at something I've never tried before. I didn't expect it to be great nor professional. I've also never used photobucket

It was pretty good. The text could look better, though. I like the comic style though.
