Hm, I generally stray away from such perverse humor, and the picture really was not needed to get the point across.

However, I did find it amusing. Good job, I'd like to see where this goes.

*ahem*

So tell me... did you folks get the humor in it or is it kind of hard to follow? be honest. And I apologize to those who found my questionable sprite manipulation to be in bad taste. I kind of just impromptly decided to put my spriting skillz to the test whilst finishing up with that comic and threw it in there for a cheap laugh.

Also, the next one will be 100x better, promise.

Not sure if I'll ever be able to top this one.

The joke is easy enough to follow, but it suffers from poor build-up and release. The punchline ("penetration! ha ha, that's also a sex term") is kind of weak, but it can be make funnier. A general rule is that less is more when it comes to text, otherwise you risk tl;dr syndrome. Consider yourself a joke sniper, using precision rounds of words to shatter someone's funny bone. Of course, there are always jokes where you have to break this rule of thumb, like shaggy dog jokes, but I don't see a lot of those.

The second comic has nicer pacing, but I'm pretty sure you can design the image so that it doesn't take up >800kB. I had no idea in frames 1-3 that that blob was a newspaper, and the house has a weird perspective error on it. The alternate headline on the paper was kind of distracting, and not funny enough to warrant distracting the "Mario dead" headline. Otherwise, entertaining.

not sure if I can do anything about the 800 kb image size in the second comic, because of the 20 frame dancing luigi animation. Kind of rushed it a bit, but I'll go back and change perspective errors. Maybe.

With my first comic I was basically testing things out, as it is my first ever. Since first comics are inherently trainwrecks, I think I'll just leave it. I don't know, perhaps I'll clean it up one of these days... :rubchin:

Anywho, apprectiate the intelligent critique Ace, such feedback shall be applied to further develop my comicing skills (or lack thereof)

A common technique to reducing the filesize of animated gif comics is to split up the comic into separate images. Since the last frame is the only (intended) animated frame, you can have that as a separate gif. If you're more knowledgeable into the gif format, you can use a selective replacement to overlay animation instead of redrawing the entire image over again.

I would have done the whole overlay thing, but my gif animator program is really limited and only capable of executing the basics. I'll probably just seperate it or something.
