It is his job to run quality control on topics in this forum, so technically it is his job, if the comics he sees fall below that threshold.

^^ Yes it is, when the comic deserves it. Unfortunately, most of the comics in this forum blow. If you don't agree with the radical notion of expecting comics that are actually good, then feel free to leave.

Once again, I'm the mod of this forum. You do not tell me how to run my forum. Who the hell are you to tell me how to moderate a forum I've been a part of since its creation. I know how things work here. I know how to make good comics and sprites. I'll be damned if someone like you is going to come into other people's threads trying to start trouble with me.

I've been a mod since 2005. Not once have I changed the way I've run this forum, and not once have the admins called me out for the way I run this place.

you could just say," I think this comic needs a little work."
I would just want to make a comic without someone telling me everything that's bad about it.

And what kind of critique is that? Any idiot could tell the comic "needs a little work." Any good critic knows to point out specific flaws with someone's work so the author knows to improve. Obviously, this notion is way over your head.
