It has many fluorescent colors to counteract the darkness of the background. It also has a laser section, similar to Quick Man's, except that you have to use these lasers to walk on. Neon Man will start the battle by firing off sparks to paralyze you. After paralyzing you or failing three times, he will fire off arcs of lightning in your direction. The first 3 will always arc on the floor, but the last one can also hit the wall, so watch out for that. For a finisher, he will draw in 2 vertical beams from either side of the room, luring you to the middle. He will then fire a tremendous burst of lighting under him (it's fairly evil if you're not expecting it). Afterwards, he repeats. His weakness is Snow Shield. YOU GET: Neon Spark. Neon Spark is a horizontal beam of electricity that is fired immediately. Useful for fast enemies, or Flood Man. Now all of the robot masters are finished. But I'm still not done yet... |

Luckily, since many enemies are recycled, I won't have to make as many. I'll probably post them all at once, so it'll be a few days before you'll see me back here. |

Tortoise Man Boulder Man's stage are belong to Tortoise Man. Tortoise Man's main attack is to throw koopa-like shells that must be avoided. He may throw two sometimes. When a shell collides into another shell, it will send that one in motion, leaving the original shell dormant. It's not too different than one shell, but it does leave a hazard on the floor, and the extra shell is just to psyche you out. Tortoise has a small, slighty elevated platform that he stands on, just so he doesn't get hit by his own shells. You can deflect shells with a weapon like Cross Spikes. After he decides you've had enough of the small shells, he gets into his own shell and does the same thing. The difference is that when he hits a wall, it causes the room to quake, and he loses his momentum upon hitting a wall. The best way to avoid him is to mirror his movements: If he goes toward one wall, go towards the other. And remember to jump to avoid him and his quakes. After this, he'll throw a shell and jump back on his platform. Use Flood Nozzle on him for an easy defeat. Tortoise Man gives you Tortoise Shell. It's works similarly to his own shells, but your shells can't hit you. This is a recommended weapon against Spike Man. Blue Devil Space Tower 1 takes place outside Space Tower, and you're trying to get in. The area is in the middle of the woods, and most of it takes place underground. Once you get in the tower, you must face the Blue Devil. He will take a tile of himself and bounce it on the ground in your direction, then it will reassemble on the other side. The eye moves after the rest of the body is on the other side. The eye will go down close to the ground, fly to the other side, then go back up into it's body. After reassembling, he will fire 5 quick shots at you. Just run to avoid (it's tempting to use slide, but the room isn't big enough for you to successfully dodge all 5 shots). Afterwards, he'll repeat the process. The best way to defeat him is to use Neon Spark when his eye is exposed. I'm not sure what's going to happen to Boulder Man. Bass' floor has 5 parts: The left, right, and middle parts are a block higher than the other two. On the left and right parts, Bass will fire a Flashman-esque series of shots. In the middle, he'll fire a charge shot at you. To get back and forth, Bass uses a dash technique from the arcade games, meaning if you stand in the middle of a pit, he'll pass over you unharmed. He operates the same way in ST2, but he now has flinch, and his HP has been lowered to 14. His weakness is Snow Shield. I tried to make Bass' battle an advanced version of the Protoman battle of MM3. Do you think I delivered? |
