The Squaresoft Game

The rules are simple I give a couple of clues to a character, place, or item from a Squaresoft game and you guess what it is. The questions will get harder as we go along and I may do bonus questions.

Sample: Crazy clown, general, who has an odd laugh.
Answer: Kefka

Now on to the first question, this one will be simple.

He's not the king of the world but he sure is the King of Dragons.

From now on when it's a character they will be marked with s/he, that serves 2 purposes one is so it will be harder to guess, the other is to tick off Bolt.

I shall venture a guess and say ummmmm... I don't know. I don't think it's an imp halberd because if you're imped when you equip that, it is quite powerful.
