Has anyone ever played this game?

I personally feel that this game is really great. Unfortunately, it was never released outside of Japan, so the only way to play it is through a ROM. You get to pick three characters out of six, and they're all different. Something that even makes them more different is the class-change system in that game. Each character can become more powerful and gain new and more abilities through this system.

Yes, took me quite a while to beat. God-Beasts take forever to kill. I think my first time through I played Kevin, my brother played Hawk and Angela was the computer.

This game is the shiyat. Hawk and Duran are the best.

Ah, thems were the days... hunting down the Beholders so you could class change with you as Duran, your bro as Angela, and the comp as Hawk... then riding Flammie awaaaay...

Prolly the third best RPG on the SNES, shadowed only by FF6 and CT.

Personally I thought Kevin, Duran, and Angela made a great team. Kevin as a Death Hand was great for leveling up the party, Duran as a Paladin could heal and deal some heavy damage, and Angela as a Rune Master KILLS EVERYTHING. She is the ultimate boss killer. Death Spell (999 damage to enemies at a lower level than Angela) makes every single boss infinitely easier (Zable-Fahr and the Darkshine Knight, two of the harder bosses in the game, were powerless against the Rune Master's might).

Yes, it's great! I have no idea how anyone can come near SoM when they've played this game.

I loved this game. I used Duran, Angela, and Kevin. God beasts=Near immortal scum.
