Garnet vs. Eiko

I've been arguing with a friend of mine over which character is better. I use Garnet, while he loves Eiko. Who do you like?

I don't really have a preference as far as character is concerned, so I'll go with Eiko. Nothing beats Full Life.

I like Both. My party is Zidane, Dagger, Steiner (Or Amarant or Vivi) and Eiko. The first time I played through FF9, however, my party consisted of Zidane, Quina, Vivi, and Eiko.

Eiko. Because of Full life and Holy.. when your not healing, hit em with a holy. heh heh.
although Garnet has better summons, they never go over 9999 damage, so that makes it so since Eiko can have her summons get that that high of an attack, Eiko wins.

They're both good. But if I had to choose in battle, I'd use Eiko.

Eiko's more of a white mage than Garnet is, so her white magic is better. Eiko's summons do deal damage, but they're more on the "healing type" elements: Earth and Holy. Phoenix also does fire damage, and revives.

Garnet's focus is on the summoner bit, so her summons are offensive and have elemental points. Her white magic isn't as great as Eiko's is, but it will work.

Neko, I don't quite understand what you're trying to say in your post. ^^0

Eiko's personality annoyed the hell outta me but she has some excellent spells. I still like Dagger/Garnet better for her Eidolons.

I prefer Garnet personality-wise, although Eiko has better spells. But I still picked Garnet.

I know. I even stupidly left her behind in the desert palace and she wouldn't even cast Cura.
