Quina Question

I got asked this a long while ago and thought I'd ask you the same question now...

What is Quina's gender?

I answered and still think that Quina is androgynous. Quina doesn't appear either feminine or masculine to me, I guess. What's your view on this interesting character?

I thought Quina was a Girl-It sure sounds like a girl's name.

I'd like to think its a girl. I usually base that on how Square's recent balance of the genders in a party starting from FF8 and FFX. 3-4 boys. 3 girls. Not really something to solidly go by. But it's still something.

FF4- Rydia, Rosa, Porom
FF5- Reina, Faris, Krile
FF6- Terra, Celes, Relm
FF7- Tifa, Aeris, Yuffie
FF8- Selphie, Quistis, Rinoa
FF9- Garnet, Freya, Eiko
FF10- Yuna, Lulu, Rikku

even in Chrono Trigger. Marle, Lucca, Ayla.

Quina's gender was left unknown for a reason, but I don't know what the reason is.
I'm leaning toward female.

Anyway, I've always referred to Quina as her. I don't know why, but she just seems more on the feminine side to me.
