| Guest Posts: n/a | No flaming other people's opinions please. Best: Final Fantasy 4 Final Fantasy 9 Chrono Trigger Dragon Warrior III Dragon Warrior IV Kingdom Hearts (Atlantica=hell) Final Fantasy Tactics Seiken Dentsu 3 Secret of Mana Final Fantasy Tactics Ogre (Denim's lord class and Lans Tartare= )Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis (Rictor= Cybil=Manipulative hooker)Final Fantasy Legend 2 (Despite the God-awful leveling-up system and the annoying-as-hell monsters, but it's still great, Startropics still rules even though it's got hellatious control) Great, but not the best: Final Fantasy VI Final Fantasy Adventure Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (Totally disgusted with the ending, yet still addicted. AAAAAAAH!!!) Sword of Mana (My partner's I.Q doesn't even reach my Friend's G.P.A. And that's about 2. somehing. ) Final Fantasy V (It had a few flaws-like how some classes are useless {Like the Spoony Bards and the Geomancers} yet others shred everything apart {Especially the Samurais, and that's simply because of $toss}) Dragon Warrior 1&2 (This is the GBC version) Brave Fencer Mushashi (You thought I'd put it in the best didn't you?) Illusion of Gaia (I loved the last battle music) Above Average: Final Fantasy VIII (Could have been one of the best if Rinoa weren't so annoying, and if they didn't have that God-awful battle system. BAD SQUARE BAD!!) Final Fantasy VII (Say hello to the single most overrated game in existance. May possibly be topped by Final Fantasy X-2) Final Fantasy X (Tidus= )Xenogears (I haven't fought so much monsters ever since Breath of Fire) Final Fantasy Legend III (Xagor is a cheap moron) 7th Saga (Could never really figure out what was going on) Garbage: Crono Cross (I hated almost every minute except for the Dragon god music. Can you say "Overrated"?) Final Fantasy 2 (God-awful leveling up system bad!! Douglas smash god-awful leveling up system!) Legend of Mana (Luckily, I forgot about it. The only good characters there were Bud, Lisa, and the Chocobo {Not the chocobo you think!}) Final Fantasy Legend (RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!! IT'S THE ANTI GAME!!!) EDIT4: Thanks CK for the FFL info and for reminding me of Illusion of Gaia and 7th saga. [ December 24, 2003, 07:27 PM: Message edited by: Douglas of the Red Atlamilla ] |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Best: FF7: My first actual RPG and hooked me for awhile. I can remember when I was finally able to take out Safer Sephiroth using Omnislash after so many failed attempts. FF6: First of the classic FFs I played. Most fun i've had after some RPGs which just stunk. FF9 FFT: Great story. Great battle system. Though the only problem was stranslation. FF Xenogears: The story was a bit jumpy at first, but once I got a handle on it I really got inot the game. Though it was pretty obvious who Id was after the first time. Star Ocean 2: The best Rpg I played after 7 which I really enjoyed. Took me awhile to beat it since I only rented it once in awhile. I finally bought it and finished what I had started. Chrono Trigger Pretty Good: Saga Frontier: Not bad, but it was lacking on some story lines. Including Blue, Asselus, and ****ing Lute. Lute the absolute worst was so damn short. It had its good points but I never got a full complete. ****ing Rikki and Mospierg. FF8: Lacking in the draw system and story. It wasn't a complete wsste of time though. CC: Lacking. Bad: Legend of Mana: Really bad sequal. Saga Frontier 2: VERY VERY bad sequal. |

Main Character meets love interest, and they grow close together in the middle of an epic struggle for all of existance. But that's what keeps the good times a rollin! Best: FF6: The first FF game I ever played and in my oppinion the best. Chrono Trigger: It's just awesome. Seiken Densetsu 3: Just plain beautiful. Great: Bahamut Lagoon: Um, dragons are cool. Ogre Battle: I really liked it. FF Legend II (is FF Legend the SaGa series?): This game has crap technology, but it was a lot of fun. That's what I like, crap technology and funness. FF4: Lunarians. Pretty good: Robotrek: Robots. Treasure Hunter G FF5: It's a lot of fun, but the class-changing system robs the characters of individuality. I've played other Square-Enix games, but I either didn't finish them or they sucked enough that I blocked them out. [ December 23, 2003, 05:11 PM: Message edited by: Falco53 ] |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Best: Tactics Ogre--well, it's here now since Square-Enix owns the right to Ogre Battle. It's challenging, and there is a multitude of secrets and battle options to toy around with. The three paths lends good playability. Final Fantasy Tactics--it's not quite as good as Tactics Ogre, but the character customization is quite fun. The strategy element isn't all that prominent due to all the ability mixing. Star Ocean 2--space adventure with chibi characters. A simple yet endearing storyline gotten through with a great combat system. Chrono Trigger--that new game+ option is strangely addicting. I guess it has to do with the simple yet fun battle system and the various endings. Trash: Xenogears--incoherent, pretentious, and badly assembled storyline. The random encounter is rivaled only by Breath of Fire 3 in frequency. Final Fantasy VIII--I fell asleep more times playing this than I did doing anything else. --------- Great: ActRaiser Chrono Trigger Final Fantasy 3/6 Soul Blazer Average: Illusion of Gaia (I just wish the vampires hadn't killed all my interest in this game) Dragon Warrior (Level up for three hours... find Erdrick's Tablet... Level up for two hours... cross a bridge... level up for two hours and a half... give up hope on the game...) Crap: ActRaiser 2 Forgot/Haven't Decided What I Think About Them: Dragon Warrior IV 7th Saga Yes, I have not played many. I own a few others, but I haven't popped them in yet. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there! | |
