I know some of you have played one of the games and at one point or other couldn't help but laugh or feel real happy, or even feel sad when you are playing a game. Post some of the moments you remember.

"The end comes...beyond chaos."

Terrifying. Horrifying. The most chilling line ever uttered from the mouth of a villain.

I liked these moments from Chrono Trigger

Ayla: You different but strong too!
Robo: That's because I am a robot.
Ayla: Rawboot? What is a rawboot?
Robo: A robot is a machine designed to look like a man-
Ayla: No nonsense or Ayla's head go boom!

Lucca: Liar! I was a perfectly good lady at the party last night-oooh why does my tummy hurt?

I also liked the part where Zidane and Vivi were "Bonding" and that whole love letter scene in Final Fantasy 9.

Various different memorable moments for me:

When Crono dies (CT)

When Kefka kills Gestahl (FF6)

When Palpleos(sp?) steals your character's woman (Bahamut Lagoon)

When Cecil finds out Golbez is his brother (FF4)

When Canopus joins your army (Ogre Battle)

Killing the dragon and rescuing the princess (DW/DQ)

Becoming a mouse (Robotrek)

There are others, but, um... I can't remember them.

The end of Chrono Cross, starting from Chronopolis. So much clicked then. And then the ending was just so great... . It made me appreciate that type of sequel.

The whole plot twist at the end in Terranigma. Really caught me off guard.

Most kickass scene in any SNES game.

Other memorable scenes:

"YOU SPOONY BARD!" (FF4)
"O... Ozzie's in a pickle!" (CT)
Going back in time to saving Lucca's mother (I swear I nearly pissed my pants when I failed the first time...) (CT)
The zillion battles in Magus' castle (CT)
Going to Lucca's burning orphanage. (CC)
Star Ocean finally being translated after all these years.

"Mine name is Glenn! Cyrus' hopes and dreams, and now the Masamune!"

You know you've played CT too much when...

The Moonlight Parade and the Epilouge theme almost made me cry one of the first times I heard it.

Correction: Mine name is Glenn! Cyrus' hopes and dreams, and now the Masamune... I shall slay Magus and restore honor!

Memorable scenes:

The ultimate confrontation with Magus in his castle. That entire section of the game was a quest of epic proportions. From climbing the Denandoro Mountains to receive the broken Masamune to battling the Reptites to get the Dreamstone to fighting off Magus' demons is by far one of the most memorable moments in any Square-Enix game... any game period. Actually, scratch the 65,000,000 B.C. part. That part sucked.

Discovering the true past of Magus.

The credits... who can forget that beautiful song?

Trying to get the chainsaw from !@#$!@$#@%$ Zozo for the first time in FF6.

Watching Kefka destroy the world.

Celes' suicide scene.

OPERA!!!!

Setzer's theme and Shadow's theme.

Dodging lightning bolts in the Thunder Plains in FFX.

Busting out the Magus Sisters in FFX and kicking everyone's ass.

Laughing at my friend as I watch him get pummelled by the Magus Sisters of FF4, and then yelling at him soon thereafter for spoiling part of the game for me by seeing Tellah die.

SMRPG. The whole damn game is a masterpiece.

Navigating that god-forsaken forest of seasons in Secret of Mana.

^ BC redeems itself when you encounter the oh-so-badass Tyrano Lair and defeat Azala. And thus.. Lavos makes his grand entrance (sort of) and the second half of the game begins, and the plot soon truly unfolds.

I'd say going to the Future for the first time really sucked. At least until you got Robo.

Nothing anywhere can beat Chrono Trigger and the scene where Frog chops the Mountain in half. The music, the speech, everything was so ****ing awesome.

His pose at the end was the climax of the kickassness. The metallic *shiiing!*. The valiant figure of Frog pointing his sword into the newly formed cave. The perfectly timed *rrribbit!* And... in they go!

Into the most annoying dungeon in RPG history.

But it still manages to be a cool dungeon.

Yeah, I'm around. I post on and off, though. I came upon one of those nifty little things people like to call "lives." Some of you here should consider looking into one. Good stuff.

The mountain scene is Frog's shining moment--one of the greatest moments in video game history. I cream my pants every time I see it.

... I've ruined lots of pants that way.
