You have to look at it like a sports team. The '96 Bulls were good, but the Bulls suck crap now.

The Square of the Golden Age was RPGing at its best. The Square of today... well... I will make no judgements.

And to think I almost bought a PS2 specifically to play Square games.

No Chrono Break?!

WHY did they do that? Chrono Break would most definatley be better than this , this , and most importantly THIS . If it weren't for Kingdom Hearts 2, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and Final Fantasy XII, then I would have abandoned them and put my opinion of them where I put Chrono Cross-In the garbage disposal.

^Chrono break would be the 3rd game in the series. 3rd games tend to be pretty good probably because they're either a) compared to the 2nd or b) fixed the reasons the 2nd game wasn't as good as the first. It'd probably pwn everything simply because of comparing it to Chrono Cross.

To me, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 is the true successors to Chrono Trigger when it comes to innovation(CT characters in KH2 would be cool but I'm not sure about the trademark on Chrono). They should at least begin a new project that has to do with Chrono something with Kingdom Hearts gameplay but still has the original CT feel with combining attacks. Besides, the idea for Chrono Break half-sucked in the first place because there were no coherent ideas to go around for as a successor to the series. Face it, Square is stupid, that's why they created Tidus and Marche which is for them to have stupid friends.
