Nice Little Gem of a Game I picked up...

I saw this game today in the local game shop called Star Ocean: The Second Story. You know, so I picked it up, looked at the price, 7.99. Then I looked at the maker, Enix. Figured it had to be decent, plus it was a cheap buy. So I went home and stuck it in my PS2, and it hasn't been off in 21 hours. It's still on right now! THIS GAME IS AWESOME.

But I had never heard of it before? Has anyone else played this game, because it doesn't seem very mainstream.

It is one of my all time favorate games of all time. I was raving about it alot awhil ago in this forum. Wait til disc 2. Then you see why I consider the main enemy of SO2 to be more evil than most other RPG villians.

I believe if anyone is interested.. they made a star ocean anime. check that out.. i hear good reviews about it.

I think it was pretty good. Though no disc 2 anime portion.

Yeah, that's the one bad thing. Sounds like they were recorded through a PVC pipe...

The end is the worst point though. They have an anime scene...but the lip motion and voice time is even worse than Xenogears. And thats pretty freaking bad since Xenogears voices ended while the lips were moving for another 2 seconds.
