The graphics are a bit dated, but the gameplay's solid. Personally, I liked FFVIII, even though I keep hearing from others that it isn't as good as the other games. It definately has superior graphics to FFVII. The story is a bit easier to swallow (sort of) too. I find FFIX is more for those who've played previous FF games, because the entire theme of the game is remisicing about old FF games. Otherwise, it's a solid game. I've not played FFX or X-2, because I don't have a playstation. ![]() |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Most people really seem to like 7 for some reason i don't understand. I'd say 9 or 10. 9's closer to the original FFs, but personally i liked 10 a little more. Haven't played enough of 8 to judge on that. And i agree X-2 would be a horrible choice to start with. It looks like a pretty good game (dunno why, just does to me) But its a sequal and defintely the wierdest FF game. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | FF VII, O.K. Game, but Matrial(Or whatever it is) I find hard to figre out how it works, and limit break to the same (hard to figre out). Storyline good FF VIII, Good game, better GF's and the GF's have different effects on your heros (Life, Strenght, Defence, Etc), Storyline V good. I find this one of the better ones to start with. FF IX, I haven't finished the game so I don't know if everyone can eventually use Summons (GFs), but everything is kind of O.K., Limit break easy, etc. Storyline V good. FFX . Summons again are to one person, sphere grid is a cool idea, I'm using the second grid with is multi choice. On the first grid, you would have one thief, one white mage (and Summoner), one black mage, a fast fighter, a effect fighter, a Stornger but slower fighter, and a Guy which you can choose what he become when you get Key spheres, Second grid, you can have all as blackmages or half black, half white, fast fighters and effects fighter, etc (But you'll have the summoner be the same person always.) A V good storyline, but one person get very annoying, One of the better games. FF X-2, has only three people to control, nobody else can join, No sphere grid, no summons (as such, just heavily powered Limit breaks), you can switch between classes, while in and outside battles. (So you can go from white mage to Warrior to Thief. Etc) Good storyline, Lot's of side missions, I find this a good game, but not all to everyones taste. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | I think IX is the best for begginers anyhow.., but then after that i would suggest FFVII becuase of the greatness.. and yes, out of the 3 PSX games its the second most easy, and afterwords VIII becuase i sitll havent beaten the last person. Neko^^ |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Final Fantasy IX is best for beginners because its so easy. Final Fantasy X-2 should only be attempted by the extremley hormonal. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | I still say Final Fantasy 9 is the best to start with. If it's going to be the first you play, it should be one of the best period. |

Anyways as I was saying FFXI, then FFVII, then any game you want. Why FFXI? It's hella easier than FF7. FF7 you gotta manage Materia, Items, keep gasping at how good the storyline is and yet still manage to play it. I'm not stopping you, but if you wanna play FF7 I recommend you play 1 or 2 FF games first. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Final Fantasy 7 isn't the best Final Fantasy, but it does have its moments, primarily when Cloud rides on a motorcycle and has to protect the others in a truck and the Music-Especially 1 winged Angel. |
