And that is about SMBhq in the coming days. To the mods: Currently, what are you working on to benefit SMBhq or are you? Secondly do you have any plans to update the site in the next few weeks (no particular reason why three weeks.)? To the browsers: What are you hoping that comes to the website and do you have anything you would like to say regarding the site's current state? Before everyone jumps to conclusions and thinks I'm lashing out against HQ in no way am I doing that! I'm just curious to know what we can be looking for. I understand, Sean, that you are pretty busy with your University studies. But what about the others? Game Ideas In the works, according to Eric, he is working on a new, faster, way to format game idea submissions and post them directly onto the site. (That's all I have for now.) |

On 3 of those 4 days I come home to late to do much of anything. I have one day off, and that's usally used to work on assignments. That said, I'll try to so a small update (new links and stuff) on the weekend. |

I'm usually available after school, but I work on homework 1st so I'd be here at my computer around 3:30-4:00 maybe. Fridays-Sundays I'm here most of the time. :-p |

Sean I've been meaning to ask you, do you mind if I somehow keep a binder containing a collection of SMBhq's history and present information. Featuring: -Site Updates -Headline News This may sound kind of lame but I'm just excited to read about everything that went on with SMBhq then and now. I really hope you don't mind. I'm also interested in these areas with TMK and Toads Castle and with their permission, I'm allowed to keep note and collect news, etc.. Of course this will only be for personal use and will not be posted on another website nor will it be distributed elsewhere. It will never leave my room in short! Sorry if this question erks you in anyway!! Last edited by Gage LaMay; 11-12-2006 at 06:53 PM. |

Even though most of you will say it does not get updated often or it's not like it used to be. That is indeed true but you have to figure that life for the staff members is not the same as it was for them back 7 years ago. Jobs, college classes, and basically every day life has taken away site time. Sucks but it's happened and there is nothing anyone can do about it now. |

But personally, I'm a little uncomfortable with with your extreme devotion to the site. |

I'm not going to like claim the site has my own or do something dangerous too it... It's not my style! Besides, if I ever get into making a website, it'll be a fan news website which probably sucks according to most people around here: Toad's Castle - Forum Topic: NNS It's only an idea as of now. No confirmations yet. I asked what Kyle thought of this news website idea and he never responded. |

SMBHQ needs some fresh, exciting, blood. He seems interested enough, which is more than most people I've tried to hire for the site in the past. It's not like anyone else is updating the site.-jay Last edited by Sean P Kelly; 11-14-2006 at 10:41 AM. |

If Gage wants to help, he can submit stuff like everyone else. He's not going to get any special treatment because he is so "passionate" about the site. EDIT: As for updating the site, I promise that there will be an update TONIGHT, or I will resign from SMBHQ EDIT 2: OK, maybe that's a little harsh. Still, I do plan on having SOMETHING up today. I'm not saying give him special treatment. Just to hear what he has to say (if he has any ideas) and give him a chance.-jay | |

| Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Home Gender: Posts: 103 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | I didn't think being interested in the history was bad though I guess printing the history could be extreme so I understand where you are coming from. As for the special treatment statement, I did say I was passionate about the site BUT that was nothing relating to requesting special treatment and it is Sean's decision to allow people to become staff members. Though I did read that they will not tolerate people "begging" to go on staff. And I really do not want to make an enemy with Sean nor anyone around here for that matter! Though, like I said, if he ever wanted something to be covered or submitted he can always let me know and I'll be willing to do it. I'm available through AIM (SNES Guy 15) if anyone would like to take this discussion any further, just Instant Message me... -Gage |

But I did in fact print out all updates from 1997-2007. Yes over 50 some pages was sacrificed (no doubt more) but it's all good. Bye to this topic. |
