Reviews Added

So today I added a Reviews section, since I find it really hard to contain stuff for all the games by updating eight unrelated sections. The first review was Super Paper Mario, or SuPaperMaRPGio as Jay would call it.

The game didn't really do it for me, but it received a decent grade, as you'll see.

What about just adding seperate sections for Staff reviews and Fan reviews. Similar to this format...

Staff Game Reviews:
GAME TITLE
GAME TITLE
GAME TITLE
GAME TITLE

Fan Game Reviews
GAME TITLE
GAME TITLE
GAME TITLE
GAME TITLE

^ Something like that on the Review page? Ah well if that's not okay then I guess I tried. :P

That was sort of the idea. I just need to figure out where those reviews are hiding and think up an email address I can access so new ones can be sent in.

I already e-mailed MetalMan about this, but it was always my intention to merge the reviews section with era pages and MetalMan really should have checked before going ahead and creating a new reviews section.

I did like his format though and rewrote my reviews to match.

The Super Paper Mario review is now linked from the SPM game page.

That's cool. If you want help finding the old fan reviews, let me know. I know there are a whole bunch of them archived somewhere. I still keep getting them every so often to my e-mail address, heh.

Yes, the reviews belong in the era pages just like how Super MaRPGio belongs in the 21st century. In the N64 years.

If I could make one more critique about the era pages, personally, I think they would be more user friendly if there was some way to indicate what sections of a game page are updated and which are not. (As in, Reviews, Enemies, Pictures, etc.) It's just a little annoying to keep clicking links and continuously finding "Not available yet."-jay

I would like that too, however the only way I could think of doing that is add a bunch of "new" icons to the game pages themselves and that would be pretty hard to keep track of (i.e. every update I would have to worry about removing out of date icons). I prefer to stay to the K.I.S.S. model (keep it simple stupid).
