Please Come Here and give your opinion on a new style idea for the forum

I think it's time for this forum to get a proper style-set (not just the little custom buttons)

So, I think it is time for us to put our heads together and come up with colours/images for the new set and we can send it off to Shane.

This would be cool.

Put fat Mario and Luigi in Peach's Dress from M+L on "New Topic" with a pretty colorful background behind them.

Put Mario and Luigi holding their chins up from M+L on "Poll" with a pretty red and green background behind them.

Put a question block from a mario game on "Reply"
. Put a colorful background behind it.

Just suggestions, but pretty good ones, I think.

Pretty good ideas...but I would of liked more of a wide variety of characters. That's just me, though.

A Mario style background sounds good, maybe something with power-ups. Like Mushrooms, Fireflowers, Starmen. And I agree we use a cast of characters, more than just Mario.

Well here is a tentative colour design I made using Netscape Composer.

Jay seems to like it an I want to see how you like it (I could make snazzier buttons though)

I had one with lots of blue and Jay hated it.

Anyway, I replaced the grey with baby blue.

The layout's not that bad. Personally though, I feel the colors are a little too bright. Changing them is unnecessary though. ^_^
