I just launched a second, more hidden, secret page on SMBhq.

Let's see if you can locate the truly-secret page.

Happy Hunting.

When did SMBHQ have secret pages?

I know TMK supposedly has one, but...

SMBhq has had a "secret" page for years that basically just acts as an archive for all the birthday specials and April Fools jokes, as well as featuring a few miscellaneous items.

It isn't really well hidden, and you can easily find it by searching SMBhq for "Secret Page"

I wanted a new secret page that was truly a secret, I wanted a secret page that people would have to work hard to find, I wanted a secret page that would be well worth the effort (I just found the TMK one yesterday, as a preporation for this new one, and it ended up being quite anti-climactic).

Most important, I wanted a secret page that wouldn't show up in any search engines (there's a metatag on the page that SHOULD prevent searchbots from picking it up).

So, start your searching.

Oh, if you are wondering, yeah there are clues hidden around the site, but I won't tell you where.

Since, no one seems to have come close to finding it. Here is a little clue to get you on your way.

What's great about looking for the Secret Page is that whenever I jump down a warp pipe I immerse myself in Fan Fiction, pictures, links, and I forget about even looking for the secret page.

But I keep my eyes open for a changed link or a suspicious anything, so for every link I click that happens to be a dead end, I get that much closer to finding the Secret Page.

All while listening to TMK's radio station. Ah, this is the Mario related life...

With a New Year comes a new clue:
It might be a good idea to find the original secret page first.

Have you ever seen either of my puzzles in action? Because this seems exactly like those. Much nicer than other spinoffs of my puzzle, even if this is just a big coincidence. (My first puzzle was in March of 2004; the second was in July.)

I've gone as far as your hints took me, and I thought I had a hunch what to do next, but... no go. Hmm...

I found the first clue. It was on the not-so-secret page.

I shall give you a small hint: On the Not-So-Secret page, finding the clue should be VERY easy for people used to looking for secrets hidden on websites.

This includes hidden text that doesn't even appear on the page.

And I said WAY too much.
