Anyway, I liked all Mario Party games, but after 5 it got sick and repetitive. I liked 7 the most, because there's A LOT of mini-games and much to unlock. Anyway, my least favorite Mario game is Mario's Time Machine. MIM was better. | |

That is not how Mario is played, nor do I want anything to do with it. The scenery had remarkably little to do with Mario. It was all beach after beach after beach. The enemies were uninventive. The plot was somehow lamer than the usual "save the princess", what with cleaning graffiti being the motive. Probably the only redeeming feature was the haunted hotel. And yeah, who the hell ever liked water levels, anyway? ![]() Last edited by GRENTLEMEN; 06-22-2006 at 12:29 PM. |

But I basically played every major and best Mario game out there, I still play my Super Nintendo (11 years and still running!) from time to time and play All-Stars. But Mario Golf for the N64 I hated...I swear, that game like personally hated me, I could NEVER unlock anyone or get any progress done no matter how hard I tried. |

If you cud just water away the graffiti, why couldn't the citizens do it themselves? There's obviously more of them and one Mario, why put the whole burden on him. Of course then people would say "Then there would be no game" but they should've fixed the plot. |

All you do is rocket in the air and ground pound. I thought they should've made a more mysterious storyline with Shadow Mario instead of just putting Bowser again behind it all. Come to think of it now, Sunshine was a pretty lame game, I mean parts of gameplay were good, I thought those secret levels with the platform jumpings were cool, then riding Yoshi was cool too, but whatever...I hope Mario Galaxy is going to be better. |

Super Mario Galaxy's looking to be a complete mess. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there! |

Mario Party 4's game boards were utter crap to get around and the items were horrible. The mini and mega mushroom thing was retarded, and the mini games, iirc, also sucked. You need a magnifiing glass to view Super Mario Land correctly. The items were also crap, I don't want to shoot some bouncy ball thing that only hits the enemys if you jump or are 1 mm away from them on the ground. Super Mario Sunshine's camera was terrible, the enemies were stupid, the plot was creative but was lame nonetheless. Also, Yoshi not being able to go into water does not make any sense. He was needed for the completion of Soda Lake in SMW iirc. The game is emensly hard and not fun at all. I only made it to the Baby Bowser/Mecha Bowser part until I quit playing it As for next gen gaming, Super Mario Galaxy looks...uh..."interesting", to say the least. It'll probably play like a mess though. Mario Hoops 3-on-3 makes me think that Nintendo will release Mario Snow/Skateboarding next year/this year. Yoshi's Island 2 and Super Paper Mario look good imo. |

| Newbie Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Surrey, B.C, Canada Gender: Posts: 15 Thanks: 1 Thanked 1 Time in 1 Post | Well, SMS isn't really that bad considering that Mario Party 4 exists ! ! tbh, the first few levels of SMS were kinda fun, the first few levels of the first world(i forgot the name, not the airport one) were cool because they were fun and not emensly hard as the rest. imo the petey pirhana fights were the best. I don't hate SMS that much because water levels are always my favorite levels in Mario games, but with the camera being horrible and the latter secret levels almost making me smash the disc, i'd have to say it's one of my least favorites. Although hearing about MIM being the most horrible mario game is enough to make me be gratful not to buy MIM at a flea market I went to last week. edit: Oh and thanks for the welcome, this is my first forum that I have joined |
