A Great Game Idea for Luigi fans - VGF

Hey I came up with a game idea. I need you to tell me what you think of it.

The game is called Super Luigi, and Peach has been kidnapped, as well as Mario, Yoshi, Toad and Daisy. They are to be lowered into a lava pit soon. Luigi must save them, as well as fight many enemies of all kinds, from MB to NSMB.

This adventure game is played like a Zelda game. You punch (instead of using a sword) and use items, such as the Poltergust 3000, to kill enemies. The health system works like that of Luigi's Mansion, but it is much easier to die, for enemy hits range from 3 to 70 HP. Much like OOT and MM, there is one giant field and many places to go to. The game would be on the Gamecube and Wii, but the Wii using the classic controller. The items would be-
Poltergust 3000- use it to beat ghosts
Fire Flower(30)- throw fireballs, and change your clothes until they run out
1-up mushroom- if you die, you will be revived with this
Mushroom-refill 30 hp
Super Mushroom-refill all hp
hammer,super hammer-destroy rocks and add a battle feature, as well as enter secret areas
Leaf or feather(15)-gain the ability to fly for 10 seconds
Starman-kill anything in your way for 10 seconds(doesn't work on bosses)
green shell(20) a powerful throwing item
red shell(20)-not as powerful as the green shell, but you can control it for ten seconds at your own risk
Wario cap- become slower and jump very low, but increases power
Mario Cap-Lose a bit of speed and jump power, but gain a bit of strength
Waluigi cap-Lose a lot of power and jumping power, but greatly increases speed
Ice flower(30)-freeze enemies with this item, simular to fireballs
Mega mushroom-become gigantic and crush anything, for 10 seconds
FLUDD-Beat goop enemies
Gameboy horror-see the unseen, mostly ghosts and hidden walls(like lens of truth)

After beating the game, you can play as Mario and Yoshi. If you beat it with Mario, you can be Peach, and if with her, you can get Daisy. There is also a co-op mode, and sidequests for each character. The game takes about 40 hours of play, with no cheats. After beating everything, you can play versus mode, and change costumes. Mario bros can change eachothers clothes, and wear Wario and Waluigi's, and fire.

If you fall into an endless pit, unlike Zelda games, you will die. Anything that would reset you in a Zelda game would kill you here.

It's sorta long, but, whatta ya think?
