Yet again, the spin-offs are not part of the main series.

In the main series, Mario has less games then Final Fantasy.

It has Mario's name on, Nintendo needs to learn how to drop a franchise and start a new one, every other company has done it, Sony dropped that wombat thing, and, well Microsoft is to new, and Sega is just plane stupid.

Your being hypocritical.

If Nintendo needs to drop Mario, then Square needs to drop Final Fantasy. And if they do, they'll die. Nintendo would have Zelda/Metroid to support them, but Square would have nothing but Kingdom Hearts (Which is pretty much supported by Final Fantasy. Nobody buys KH for the Disney characters.) and the side-franchises that nobody gives a damn about (With the exception of Chrono, which they've killed off already).

Yeah, but theres a pretty big difference between Nintendo and square, Square is a third party devolper, Nintendo makes pretty much it's own games.

That doesnt matter. We are talking about game franchises, not what party the developers are in.

Red face

Ill vote Mario, of cowrse I will.

Well killing off Mario would 1. be plain stupid, and 2. they'd loose a LOT of fans. And If they do than keep Yoshi, Toad Luigi, Bowser, and DK.

Yes. They have Legend of Zelda and Metroid, which are both highly successful. Square would be toast without Final Fantasy.

Kingdom Hearts could keep them going a little longer, but Final Fantasy is the backbone of Kingdom Hearts. As I stated before, it's highly unlikely that anyone bought KH just for the Disney characters. After they run out of FF characters to Kingdom Hearts-itize, the series would die.

I bought Kingdom Hearts because Gamestop.com bundled it with my PS2.

Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there!
