^^It was the name of a biblical tyrant who thought himself greater than God and commissioned the Tower of Babel. The insult was actually coined in a Bugs Bunny cartoon, referring to Elmer Fudd (a two-sided joke, as Nimrod was in fact an excellent hunter, but still as much a fool as Fudd).

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
