As much as I hate the Idea of more Mario Pimping, I think the guys at Sabertooth games Universal Fighting System could pull it off with the UFS system.

The system runs King of Fighters, Darkstalkers, Soul Calibur III, Street Fighter, Samurai Showdown, and Penny Arcade so far.

UFS does not suck a game with characters from both Soul Calibur III and King of Fighters can not suck.

Maybe we should create a Mario-based TCG. I mean, as a forum game or something. Not for actual publishing. Valigarmander's dream would at least be fulfilled that way... in a sense... Meh. I like Magic too much. I have some cards on the Wizards forum, though they're rather old already. I might get back to designing cards at any time.
