SMBhq Vs BOTVGH Teaser up

Well the one page teaser for SMBhq's newest section was posted by me last night.

I plan to actually launch the section on April 6(just days before my 21st birthday)

Other than the fact that I have no idea what BOTVHG is... I guess it can be cool. However, can you do us a favor and turn off the MIDI music. The NC section had it for a while and it froze up my computer and caused problems for others too.

Looks good, Sean.

BOTVGH = Battle of the Video Game Heros. It's a sort of fan-fiction/deathmatch that is mostly text based, has some pictures, but is a lot of fun. You can look it up online. Also, look for one episode that me, Sean, Mark and Steve wrote. It's really cool. I'll send the link. http://botvgh.disktech.org/s6ep5.html

But yeah, Sean, I think something on the site is causing my computer to freeze up as well, but I don't know if its the midi. Midis ususally run on my comp.-jay

LOL. That's not bad. I wonder why all you did was turn Cranky into a Goomba though. I would except something done to Mario, but it works.

Yeah, I think I will remove the midi for the actual site(but I will keep it on the teaser for the moment - it adds atmosphere).

Also, I have written MUCH better episodes that the SMBhq one(in fact the episode I am writing to launch this section is much better)

Heh. I'm sure you've written many better episodes then that one, Sean. You are more experience in this thing, afterall. And I'm sure the first episode for the SMBHQ one will be great. I'd like to help you write one sometime too, if you want. Or write my own.

And yeah, I would like to hype up the new section teaser on SMBHQ, but I really don't want to put a link to it if it keeps killing my Internet Explorer when I open it.-jay

I just removed the midi from the page. Hopefully everything will be just fine(even though the page looks quite boring without any sound).

Maybe look for some different code? I donno. Maybe something that lets you turn on/off the sound? I like sound, and the code that I use at NC works for myself, but I know it doesn't work for other people like PM. But it's just kinda silly to put up a page that will cause people's computer to freeze.-jay

I saw the updated teaser today. I was not expecting to be a part of it, but that's cool if you want me in. I'll be more than happy to participate. However, some of the pictures wouldn't load. You may want to look at it again, SK.

I just included you (and all the mailbag guys) to try and even out the sides (since BOTVGH has so many more characters)

Also I checked the source code of the file and noticed that some images were linked to my hard drive. I fixed that.
