Anyway...my first Mario game, hmm...
I think it was SMW, but I'm not too sure.
All I know is that I must have been 3 or 4... o__O

Well, I suppose SMW is somewhere in my top 20, even if it may or may not have been my first Mario game.

Mine was Donkey Kong, on the Coleco Vision.

Heh, I'm old.

Overall, DK is probably high on my list. No idea where. Good game.-jay

I always used to watch my mom play, until SMW came out. When it did, I played it sporadically. I didn't beat it until long after I got it, and it took me a while more to beat the Special World.

I'm not sure where this game would rank. Meh.

Super Mario Bros. on the NES... I don't remember what year it was but I got a NES for Christmas (I must have been younger than 8 because the SNES wasn't out yet... either that or my grandma was feeling cheap that day! ) Anyway, we take the game home, I don't remember much about actually playing it, but I did manage to get to the first Bowser because I remember that night I was afraid to go in the basement because it was dark and Bowser lived in the dark and he could come out and get me!

A few years later, my mom banned video games (right after we got Super Mario Bros. 3!) so I craved SMB3 even after the SNES was out... she finally let us set up the NES at our grandparents' house (strangely enough); eventually they bought a Sega Genesis to go along with it and my mom finally let me get an N64 around the time the Gamecube came out... I so want a Gamecube!
