Super Smash Brothers: Melee a Mario game?

Do you consider this a Mario game? Well?

I'm half-and-half. I consider it a Mario starring role, but it also has many, many other series.

On my Mario site, I did place it in the main categorey. However, it should probably be classified by its own.

You can have a starring role in a game and it not be your game. If that were not true, then you could call every Mario game in existence part of the Super Goomba Bros. series.

Let's see . . . there is from Mario: Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Peach, . . . and I guess Yoshi (although he's really his own character now)

From Pokemon: Mewtwo, Pikachu, Pichu, and Jigglypuff.

From Fire Emblem: Roy and Marth

From Star Fox: Fox and Falco

From Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic and Tails

From Zelda: Link, Young Link, Ganondorf, Zelda, and Sheik . . . HEY! There are the same number of Zelda characters and their all definate!

Sonic and Tails aren't Ninty characters, therefore not in the game.

Well I never played, and besides I've seen screenshots of the characters choices with Sonic and Tails and since recently Nintendo has bought the rights to those charcaters and had released GBA Sonic games I thought that it wasn't such a crazy idea, but gave it not much thought afterward. So excuse me and shut the hell up!

Don't get offended. Nintendo doesn't own Sonic or Tails. Sega (Well, Sonic Team, which is part of Sega) made the game, and Sega published it.

To me, any wild or outlandish reports in an April magazine aren't beleivable.
