I thought I made this clear. Toads aren't Mushrooms. They just wear mushroom caps. If you look at female Toads, they have pigtails. Mushroom does't grow hair. Unless it's old and junk...

Toads are more closely related to Amphibians.

I think in the Mario cartoon,Toad took off his mushroom thingy like a hat.

He was Bald underneath.

i'm not saying the carton is a source of Mario info,but this is what I always believed to be true,anyway.

Two things:

Mushroom people (Toad is just the most important one, he's not the species name) aren't fungi. They're little mushroom people things, like you and me. (right?)

Mushroom people aren't real. You can go work at Nintendo and make mushroom people have whatever body parts you want. Go ahead. Have fun.

I always believe Toad was just a really short human like Krillin off of DBZ. He just keeps he head well waxed. The girl Toadstools still have hair though that sticks out underneath the Mushroom caps.
