| Guest | Psst! Knuckles, Tatanga is not the boss in Super Mario RPG, he is the boss of Super Mario Land! I think you had one alien mixed up for another; as the boss of smRPG is Smithy. I personally think the final boss with either be Bowser, somehow, or some entirely new thing that has never been featured in a Mario game before. Of course, the possiblity of a doppleganger introduces Wario into the picture, but who knows. The entire world had not only that sludge stuff around it, but also the letter "M" graffitied all over the place. Graffiti makes me think of the Koopalings, but I think it's been fairly well established that Nintendo forgot about them awhile back. Heh. |

| Guest | That's just stupid. Neither Bowser nor Wario explain the grafiti or metallic paint. Nor they explain a mysterious figure running around that's being mistakened for Mario. I will enjoy laughing at you all when it turns out to be neither of the past villians. The Koopalings are dead. On more levels than one. Nor do any of them resemble Mario. Bowser is dead. That thing in LM wasn't Bowser. If it was there'd more blood when his head came off like that. If you any resemblance between him and Mario, please raise your hand so I can come around and whack upside the head. Tatanga was not made Shigeru. Nor does he resemble Mario. Smithy died in SMRPG. And he was invented by Square. Last time I checked, they weren't involved in the making of MS. Nor does he resemble Mario. Like LoTP said, spilling metallic paint over a tropical island does not help a treasure hunter like Wario. Nor does he resemble Mario. At least not enough for the two to be confused. It can only be a new, never before seen enemy. Metal Mario. As Metal Mario, a peice of Mario He is an exact copy of Mario only metallic and if there's metallic paint all over the place, obviously he's leaving a snail trail of liquid metal over the place. He's either melting from too much sun-light or this is only natural for him to behave like liquid. Which leads me to believe he orginated from Mario's Metal Cap form. And of course, there's the messy explanation of HOW Metal Mario would be created. Baby Mario is still giving us grief... Bowser's not dead, either. There's no place in any game where he ever died. In addition, he's got the advantage of his Black Magic to transform into other stuff. Like how he turned into a Toad in that one manga. So that doesn't count him out. That doesn't ignore the fact that Bowser DOES have Black Magic and probably could if he wanted to. If not, there's always those Duplighosts of his... |

| Guest | Even if he knows Black Magic, it doesn't mean he can change into whatever he wants. MS is the true sequel to SM64. There for it must connect to it somehow storyline ways. SM64 was Metal's first appearance a very big thing in the Mario universe. Especially since Shiggy was once qouted years ago when asked how Mario would look like in the future, he said that maybe he might wear metal custume. Metal Mario was sorta like Shiggy's prediction come true. It would make poetic sense if Metal were to return again, this time a seperate entity. And seeing as he's writing "M" all over the place, he prbably has Mario's memories as well but since Metal Mario can't talk, to the extent of our knowlege, he must be trying to express his jumbled up thoughts through grafiti. Strange, this somehow reminds me of a bit of Superman meets Bizzaro with a bit of Terminator 2 thrown in. |

| Guest | I can't see how. With no ties with what happened in SMRPG and a totally different Mushroom Kingdom. With Square back with Nintendo, hopefully we'll get to see the true sequel. Besides, we're not talking about Paper Mario right now. |

| Guest | PA had 7 star sprits & it was an RPG. compared to the Final Fantsy series, that's more than enough to considered a sequel. As for SMS, why the heck can't the Mario lookalike be Wario? If the Military in SA2 can mistake Sonic for Shadow dispite the fact that Shadow escaped from their own base then I'm ain't holding the Toads in high regard. As for the whole garffi thing, it could just be to distract Mario so Bowser can kidnap Peach when he's not around. |

| Guest | Well, ya know Transformation ain't exactly hard. Look at PM, not only are their Duplighosts, but theirs the Sneaky Parasol. If someone wanted to frame Mario, it's not exactly hard. And I somehow doubt it would be someone other than Bowser. Bowser is always the boss in the "Big" Mario Platformers, only in SMB2 America and SML1 and 2 is he not the boss. (This does not include the RPGS of course). And to further my point, ever first Mario game for a console has Bowser as a boss. |
