| Guest Posts: n/a | I think it was originally supposed to have 6 worlds. Why? Well first of all, the average game of that time had 6 worlds. Second, world 6-3 is in black and white. This indicates that it would be the last normal level. Remember Kirby's Adventure? The final level before Dedede was in black and white. Third, there are no warp zones beyond world 5. Fourth, world 6 is the first boss where Bowser throws hammers at you. If the game had 6 worlds, it would be the only time. Plus, I think it might've been the first world where you have to run down the platforms in a certain pattern to pass, but I'm not sure on that one. But why did Nintendo add 2 worlds? Who knows. Maybe it was too easy, or short, or both. [ August 21, 2002, 04:02 PM: Message edited by: Yoshimaster, yoshi2256 on weekends ] |

| Guest Posts: n/a | You could be right, but KA was made years after SMB, and was made by a different company(obviously). I say you could be right because there are a lot of levels repeated in the game, like level 1-3 reappears as 5-3, only harder. I never understood why 6-3 was b&w, though. -------------------- Batman. Never forget the name. |
