It is the only system left to continue the classic nostaglic 2D Mario games that we've grew up with. I must say, that GBA is handheld perfection and Nintendo should make as many Super Mario games as their imaginations let them. After Mario Advance 3:Yoshi's Island, and the SMB3 remake, i really do hope that they start the Super time line againe with SMB4, SMB5, SMB6 etc.

I.. just... a new SMB game!? Words wouldnt describe it...

After all the 2D remakes are made (i love em)
Then they could continue with SMB4! Why not? Are they to much in the future with their Sunshines and 64's etc?
No way a 4th SMB would be tight.

I have drawn world maps for 4 myself already using stuff from SMB3. I've thought of worlds such as Mountain World, and Jungle World.

Isn't Super Mario World pretty much the equivalent of SMB4? Then that would make a new 2d SMB game SMB5.

Or better yet, a Super Mario Land Advance, SML6. Because of the Wario Lands, it'd be #6.

Guys... the Super and World games are different. If Super Mario World was SMB4, they could have named it that or put SUper Mario World: SMB4.
So there is no SMB4, it needs to be made.

I've come up with a SBM 4, but it was in 3D. I put it in the Game Idea forum a while back and people seemed to like it.

It doesn't have to have the number on it. After Donkey Kong Jr., Donkey Kong 3 was released despite there not being any a game called Donkey Kong 2. So DKJr. must be DK2.

Of course by that train of logic, Yoshi's Story would be SMB6.

Of course it would, its the sequel to Yoshi's Island, also making it Super Mario World 3. I just got Yoshi's island recently, but already I see a ton of ties. I can make a map of Yoshi Island after I'm done. On the map of the Mario world it'd be somewhere between the mainland of the Mushroom Kingdom and Bowsers Castle since page 5 of Yoshi's Story is Ocean and after that its Bowser's Castle.
